Former Niger state governor, Babangida Aliyu, has said there will be trouble if the ruling All Progressive Congress rigs the 2019 general election. He said Nigerians are anticipating an excellent election devoid of rigging.

Nigeria’s serving ambassador to South Africa, Alhaji Ahmed Ibeto, has reportedly announced his defection from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) under which he secured the appointment from President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Chairman, Board of Trustees of Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation, Alhaji Muazu Babangida-Aliyu has urged all Nigerians to take the issue of security as a personal responsibility. He said this on Monday, July 30.

A former governor of Niger state, Babangida Aliyu, on Monday, July 9, revealed before a gathering that some of his colleagues and people in charge of security in the country hardly read reports warning of such incidents.

Niger state federal high court on Monday, April 16, turned down the application by former governor of Niger state, Muazu Babaginda Aliyu, to release his international passport to enable him travel for forthcoming lesser hajj.

The former governor of Niger, Dr Babangida Aliyu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says that he has no intention of defecting to the APC. He said this in Minna following the defection of some politicians to the APC.
