WORLD CUP: War Is Over, As NFF And Keshi Resolve List Issue

Chairman of the Media and Publicity Committee the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Emeka Inyama said that all the controversies between the body and Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi regarding the World Cup list have been amicably resolved.

According to the official, "there have been very worrying issues between the Federation and the Super Eagles, it seemed as if there was war, but honestly I want to assure you today that there is peace and no tension between the federation and coach Stephen Keshi".

He also added that the NFF would not hire any foreign technical adviser to aide Keshi, because they "have confidence" in the Nigerian coach.

It would be recalled that Stephen Keshi was in the center of several scandals in connection with the upcoming FIFA tournament, and there were even talks that the Federation might fire him irrespective of the WC outcome.

NFF's dissatisfaction with the coach was connected with him neglecting their advice and assistance, so as with his substantial delay in issuing the provisional list.
