World Cup: Less Headache For Keshi As Tevez Doesn't Make Argentina Team

Argentina has left out super striker, Carlos Tevez, despite being in good form for his club in Italy.

The 30-year-old former Manchester City & Man. United player was Juventus top goal scorer this season but Argentina coach Alejandro Sabella ignored pleas from local fans to add him to their 30 man list.

Tevez has been left out by Sabella since he took the helm of the national team in 2011.

Sabella has however chosen to trust his the pair of Ezequiel Lavezzi and Rodrigo Palacio as subs while Lionel Messi, Gonzalo Higuain and Sergio Aguero start.

Tevez isn't the only veteran not going to Brazil, also Esteban Cambiasso of Inter Milan has also been excluded and Manchester City’s Martin Demichelis has been called up despite not playing for the team since 2012.

Demichelis City team mate Samir Nasri and Gael Clichy also was excluded from the French list with the French manager, Didier Deschamps, saying: “Samir is an important player for Manchester City but he has not performed that well with France.

“He is a starter at City, which is not the case with France, and he has made it clear that he is not happy when he is a substitute — and I can tell you it can be felt in the squad.

“I built the best squad, I did not pick the 23 best French players.”
