Moses was only on the bench for “tactical reason”
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has dismissed concerns regarding Victor Moses’s future at Anfield, insisting that the winger is still part of his plans.
The Nigerian international, who is on loan at Liverpool from Chelsea, failed to make it off the bench in the teams 4-1 victory over West Brom on Saturday.
However, liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has claimed that Moses was only on the bench for “tactical reason” and said that the 22-year-old has done very well since he joined the club.
“Moses has obviously done very well for us since his arrival on loan from Chelsea,” Rodgers told ITV.
“I only dropped him (from the team that beat West Brom) for tactical reasons, he’s still very much part of the first team.”
Liverpool are currently third in the Premier League table behind leaders Arsenal.
