Wycombe Wanderers striker, Adebayo Akinfenwa, who is of Nigerian descent has trolled his youngest son following Manchester United’s 5-0 loss to Liverpool at the Old Trafford on Sunday.

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah wrote his name in Premier League history books after helping his side tho a thorough defeat of the Red Devils, Liverpool.com reports.

The Egyptian forward continues his impressive start to the season helping Jurgen Klopp’s men rip their arch-rivals apart at the Theatre of Dreams.

The Egyptian struck three times to fire Jurgen Klopp's men to victory, leaving Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on the verge of being sacked.

It was a frustrating evening for Manchester United fans as they looked subdued on a night they endured the whole 90 minutes full of torture.

After the win, Akinfenwa took to his Instagram handle to share how his youngest son who supports Manchester United felt disappointed.

The former Swansea and Millwall star and his eldest child wore Liverpool shirts as they celebrated the victory, while his youngest son only managed to hold a customised Manchester United bag in disappointment.

Akinfenwa wrote:

“I love my son but boyyyyyyy……….. know any1 can get it. #YNWA #5-0.”

And taking to the comments section, a follower replied:

“Stay strong little man. If you need a place to stay for a while I got you. One United fan to another.”

Another added:

“He needs to feel it bro, lil nephew made his choice.”

One said:

“I know you were genuinely bullying him after that result. Too much.”

Akinfenwa then replied:

“You know what ur soooo right I thought I could sway him to change teams but he said no. Fair play.”

Premier League table so far

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Manchester United are gradually drifting away from the Premier League title contention this campaign as they currently sit in the seventh position with 14 points after nine games.

Chelsea remain at the summit of the table after nine games with 22 points and have only lost one of their first nine English top-flight games so far this campaign.

They recorded seven un-replied goals in their game against Norwich City over the weekend while Liverpool and Manchester City complete the top three teams with 21 and 20 points respectively.

In the fourth and fifth position after matchday nine are West Ham United and Brighton & Hove Albion.
