Man United played out a 1-1 draw with already relegated Premier League side Fulham in their penultimate fixture at Old Trafford.

A moment of brilliance from Edison Cavani gave the home side the lead but Joe Bryan brought the Cottagers level to earn a point at the Theatre of Dreams.

The Red Devils started the game brightly as they created series of chances before they scored the opening goal of the match in the 15th minute.

It all started from the back as David de Gea found Bruno Fernandes who seemed to have got a vital touch on the ball that fell to Cavani from 40 yards out.

The Uruguayan spotted Alphonse Areola off his line and made a delightful chip that beat the French goalkeeper from distance to make it 1-0.

Fabio Carvalho had Fulham's best chance of the half as the teenagers made his way past Victor Lindeloef but he shot straight into the hands of De Gea.

United had several scoring opportunities to put the game to bed in the second period but Areola made fine saves from Fernandes and Mason Greenwood.

Fulham then got their equalizer in the 76th minute after Bobby Reid got the ball in an onside position before crossing to Bryan to head home to make it 1-1.

There were no further goals in the match as United would have to confirm second spot on their final Premier League game away at at Wolves.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Marcus Rashford and his girlfriend Lucia Loi have reportedly gone their separate ways after eight of dating, Daily Star.
