Football fanaticism has been taken to a whole new level as Man City fans in Nigeria have organized a 40-day prayer and fasting program to emerge victorious against Chelsea in the Champions League, Twitter.

It might sound funny but since the appointment of former Paris Saint-Germain boss, Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge, the Blues have become City's headache this season.

The west London club came from a goal down to defeat the Citizens by 2-1 in a recent Premier League match played at the Etihad.

Their FA Cup semi-final clash also ended in favour of Tuchel's side as Hakim Ziyech's goal was enough to take them through into the final.

Both sides will clash again for the ultimate prize in Europe as they are set to compete against each other in the Champions League final.

The most intriguing thing about the final is that this group of Nigerian fans have set June 29, 2021, as the end of the program, a month after the exact date of the final which would be played in Istanbul on May 29, 2021.

And by the time, the 40-day fasting and prayer program will be over, the trophy will either be sitting in either the city of Manchester or London.

Chelsea's recent impressive run is enough to scare City fans as Tuchel has conquered top managers since his arrival including the likes of Carlo Ancelotti, Zinedine Zidane, Jose Mourinho and the likes.

Meanwhile, had earlier reported that Chelsea arguably have the largest fan base in Nigeria and the club's current impressive run has led to a man branding his family with the Blues' shirt, Twitter.

The beautiful family of five wore the west London club's home jersey and posed for a photo in what caught the attention of the social media community.

The most fascinating aspect of the photo was that the newly-born twin girls were not also left out of showing off the club also known as the Pride of London.
