Thiago Silva's wife, Isabelle has blamed Chelsea forward Timo Werner for the Blues' 1-1 draw against Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League semifinal clash.

The German forward had a chance to double his side's lead after Christian Pulisic opened the scoring in the 14th minute but he missed the sitter.

His first miss was when he fired his shot straight into Thibaut Courtois from close range and later in the game, his effort went wide when he had better options.

After missing the glorious opportunity, the hosts levelled up in the 29th minute through Karim Benzema and the game ended up in a stalemate.

The 36-year-old defender's wife believes everywhere she goes, some strikers will always mess things up in a short video clip on Instagram according to The Mirror.

"This is karma, guys. Every team I go to there is a striker who keeps missing goals… this Werner, what is his name?"

Isabelle was not done, as she came up with another video where she lamented that Chelsea needed to score but the strikers were sluggish about it.

"We need a goal, we need to win this match but my attackers don’t want to score, I don’t know why they don’t score."

Meanwhile, Thomas Tuchel will not throw his countryman under the bus as he urged the forward to keep working hard in his pursuit of finding form in England.
