Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has stated that his side lacks the presence of a match-winner like great stars - including Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Messi or Ronaldo, GOAL reports.

The Spanish tactician will see his side square-up against French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain in the semifinal of the Champions League.

Guardiola grabbed his ninth trophy in five years at Manchester City as he turored the side to a 1-0 win over Tottenham in the final on Sunday, April 25 at Wembley thanks to a late goal from Aymeric Laporte.

Now, they prepare for the showdown against the Parisians and Guardiola has insisted that his side must play collectively if they hope to go ahead and win this season’s Champions League.

He told Canal Plus:

“We maybe don’t have a single player who is capable to win a game all on his own like Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappé or Neymar.
"But the average level of my players is so high that no replacement throws the team off balance.
"Turn your TV on and enjoy. Kevin, he is like a knife, we say in Spanish. When he decides to go for it, he sees passes and the game.”

The 17-year-old who has been described as the 'New Neymar' will remain at Fluminense for the rest of the Brazilian Serie A season.

Kayky has contributed with two goals and one assist in nine appearances for the Fluminense first team this campaign.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Manchester United failed to reduce the gap between them and rivals Man City after settling for a goalless draw with Leeds at Elland Road on Sunday, April 25.

United were looking to build on their 3-0 hard-fought win over Burnley in their last Premier League outing to increase their slim hopes of winning the league.

The match eventually ended in a barren draw, with neither side finding the back of the net.
