Kelechi Iheanacho has declared his love for the English FA Cup on his quest to help Leicester City win their first FA Cup trophy in their history, Daily Mail.

The Foxes will play Chelsea in the finals after dispatching Southampton in the semis and Iheanacho's love for the FA Cup is sounding a note of warning to the Blues.

The Nigerian international scored the match-winner against the Saints and sent the Foxes to their first final since 1969.

The FA Cup happens to be the best competition Iheanacho has been more prolific in terms of goalscoring and no player since the 2015-16 season has netted more goals than the former Man City star

Iheanacho who was on target twice against Man united in the quarter finals said:

"The FA Cup loves me and I love the FA Cup.
"I was in the right place at the right time. I’ve been unlucky in the past few years but it’s working out well now and I need to go to the next level."

The 24-year-old also lauded Jamie Vardy’s brilliant in the build up to the goal against Southampton as he added:

"The partnership is outstanding. He has pace, he has everything. He set up the goal and I was in the right place at the right time."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho have become an item in and out of Leicester City's dressing room, cited on Twitter.

One would always expect something funny from both super Eagles stars after winning a match with the Foxes.

Iheanacho who has been in superb scoring form recently netted the winner in their FA Cup semi final clash with Southampton and it was expected Ndidi would hype the striker in the lockeroom.
