Champions League winning coach announces departure with top European club, to become new German coach

Hansi Flick will leave his position as Bayern Munich boss after spending just 18 months at the club.

The 56-year-old won six trophies during his short spell with the Bavarians including last season's Budnesliga, German Cup and the Champions League titles.

It is understood that the German gaffer fell out with the club's sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic on several occasion over last summer's transfer dealings.

Flick was not happy with the way Bayern let Thiago Alcantara joined Liverpool last summer despite his immense contributions into the team.
