Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has sent strong warning to potential Champions League quarter-final opponents saying “no one wants to play us.”

The manager saw his side cruise to the last-eight of the competition following a 3-0 aggregate win over Spanish club Atletico Madrid.

A goal each from Hakim Ziyech and Emerson were all the Blues needed in the second-leg of their last-16 encounter at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night, March 17.

The west Londoners went into the return leg with a 1-0 advantage salvaged in the reverse tie played in Romania.

The quarter-final draw is slated for Friday, March 19 and Tuchel is suggesting that none of the other qualified teams are prepared to face the Blues.

He said via Mirror:

“I'm pretty sure no one wants to play against us. It's a super difficult challenge ahead because we are already in the last eight.
“It's a big step, but no need to be afraid, we take what we get and prepare as best as possible.
"The most important is that we feel we deserve this. The most important is that we give the feedback for the guys what they did here in terms of quality and intensity."

Meanwhile, Spanish giants Real Madrid are through to the last eight of this season's Champions League following a 3-1 second leg win over Italian side Atalanta.

Goals by striker Karim Benzema, a spot-kick by Sergio Ramos and late goal by Marco Asensio were enough to see Los Blancos complement their 1-0 first leg win it 4-1 on aggregates.
