Ronaldo is staring at an uncertain future with Juventus, just three years after he joined them from Madrid.

Juve's recent shock exit from the Champions League in the Round of 16 fuelled further speculation the 36-year-old's time at Turin could be up.

The Italian side were knocked out of the competition by FC Porto last week, raising questions over Ronaldo's future with the club.

The Portuguese ace has a year left on his current deal in the Serie A and Juve risk losing him on a free transfer next summer should they fail to extend his contract.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is already analysing his future at the club who face the prospect of missing out on the domestic title to Inter Milan.

Real are understood to be the leading sides waiting on the wings to have Ronaldo should the star forward bring his stay at Juve to an end this summer.

The Spanish outfit have solely missed the Portugal international, with the Zidane-tutored side struggling both domestically and in Europe.

The French manager has now hinted at Real making a move for Ronaldo, confirming there is an element of truth in reports linking the striker to Santiago Bernabeu.

"Yes, there may be. We know Cristiano, we know the person he is and everything he has done here. But now he’s a Juventus player and we must respect this.
"Now, let’s see what the future will be. I was lucky enough to coach him and he is very impressive. Right now, he’s helping Juventus."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Dutchman Van de Beek could be leaving Premier League club Manchester United at the end of the season despite moving to Old Trafford last season.

He moved to England from Ajax for £35million last summer, but has managed to start just two games this season in the topflight.

The 23-year-old is left stunned by limited action and he is worried that he does not have a future at the club.
