The Old Lady who were without Ronaldo from the start then raised their game and they eventually restored parity in the 39th minute through Adrien Rabiot. 1-1.
The second-half of the fixture started on a high as both teams took it to each other before Federico Chiesa capitalised on a counter-attack and run almost the entire length of the pitch to play in Alvaro Morata, whose left footed effort was blasted past the keeper. 2-1.
Aaron Ramsey was later brought down inside the box and Morata was handed the chance to put Juve 3-1 up from the penalty spot, and he didn’t waste that chance.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Arthur and Weston McKennie were then brought on by manager Pirlo as they looked to control the game and seal the three points.
Lazio did have a flurry of chances in the final 15 minutes, but they didn’t do enough to ripple the net for a second time, and the best team will be happy with their impressive performance.
It ended Juventus 3-1 Lazio.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Ronaldo has been in sparkling form for Juventus this season leading the Serie A scorers’ chart with 20 goals in 21 matches in the Italian topflight.
