The German gaffer was quoted by Daily Mail:

"No. My priority is the next game we play.
"That has never been different and hopefully will never change because it's exactly what I expect from my players and my teams: that when we wear a Chelsea shirt, we play a Chelsea game and that means we play to win and give 100 per cent of effort and intensity.
"It's very nice and exciting to play Champions League games in the knockout stages but there is no preference."

Chelsea will be without defender Thiago Silva after complaining of a muscle problem but the Brazilian has returned to training but is not fit enough to play.

Diego Simeone's men will be playing away from their home ground in Bucharest due to the Covid rep tape, but the Argentine boss would still fancy win over the Premier League club.

Tuchel admitted that not playing at their home ground will affect their opponents but it will be difficult to overcome them.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has expressed his admiration for Mateo Kovacic's commitment to the club.

The German-born tactician took over at Stamford Bridge last month after the sack of Frank Lampard and he has been able to turn their fortunes around.

Tuchel has guided the Blues to five wins and just one draw - conceding one goal since his arrival late last month while they have now moved to fourth on the table with 42 points.
