Georgina Rodriguez has expressed joy following Cristiano Ronaldo’s Italian Super Cup triumph on Wednesday night, January 20, over Napoli.

Ronaldo grabbed a 64th minute goal from close range before Paulo Dybala sealed the victory with a second goal in stoppage time to hand Andrea Pirlo his first managerial career title.

It is the Portuguese legend’s fourth title since his arrival at the Italian club in 2018 and his girlfriend Georgina says she is proud to have him as her lover.

Georgina heaped praises on the 35-year-old as she takes to social media to congratulate him in style.

She wrote:

“Where unity is, there is victory.”
"You are one of the best athletes in history, you are already a legend, and my source of inspiration.
"Thank you my love for so much. Congratulations on another title in your professional career !!!
"It is a pride and my greatest happiness to accompany you by the hand on the path of life."

Alves remains the only footballer with most trophies in football history having won an unprecedented 42 titles during his breathtaking career.

The Brazilian legend who began his professional career early enough went on to play for clubs including Sao Paolo, Barcelona, Sevilla and Paris Saint-Germain.

He practically won everything in the game of football ahead of multiple Ballon d’Or winners, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo now boasts an incredible 33 trophies, having won one with Sporting Lisbon, 10 with Manchester United, 16 with Real Madrid, two with Portugal and now four with Juventus.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Brazil legend Dani Alves has lashed out at the Barcelona board for their role in his exit from Camp Nou in 2016.

The 37-year-old walked away from the Nou Camp after the expiration of his deal and join Juventus as a free agent.

He spent just one season at the Allianz Stadium and helped them reach the Champions League final having already won the Serie A and the Coppa Italia titles.
