The 35-year-old has now scored 760 goals for club and country more than any other player in the history of the round leather game.

The five-time Ballon D'or winner surpassed Pele a few weeks ago and equaled Josef Biscan's record following his brace against Sassuolo to make it 759 career goals.

Ronaldo reached the 760-goal tally in 1040 appearances including the 450 goals for Real Madrid, 118 for Manchester United, 102 for Portugal, 85 for Juventus and five for Sporting Lisbon.

However, the great Pele still believes he has scored more goals than any other player, claiming he has a total of 1,283 strikes which some of them were not documented.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Cristiano Ronaldo earns more money than four Serie A teams combined after his wages at Juventus were revealed, The Sun.

Reports claim that the Portuguese striker earns around £540,000-a-week since his 2018 summer move from Real Madrid.

Clubs Udinese, Hellas Verona, Spezia and Crotone have the same or a lower squad bill than what Ronaldo earns yearly.

Legit.ng also reported that Cristiano Ronaldo's goal against Sassuolo in Serie A means he has equalled the all-time record for the most goals scored in football.

The five-time ballon d'Or winner is now tied with Czech legend Josef Biscan who scored 759 goals, the most scored by an individual player in the history of the round leather game.

His brace during the 3-1 win over Udinese after the New year saw him move past Brazilian legend Pele who scored 757 goals.
