Mauricio Pochettino has tested positive for coronavirus days after helping Paris Saint Germain the club to Trophee des Champions trophy.
The former Tottenham boss only took over at the Parc des Princes on January 2, 2021, from German gaffer Thomas Tuchel.
PSG recorded a 2-1 victory over Marseille in midweek to help the 48-year-old win his first trophy as manager of the club.
The Argentine coach will now miss their upcoming Lige 1 games against Angers and Montpellier.
An official club statement read:
"The coach of PSG Mauricio Pochettino is confirmed positive in the Sars-Cov2 PCR test.
"He will therefore respect isolation and is subject to the appropriate health protocol. His assistants Jesus Perez and Miguel D'Agostino will take over from tomorrow in Angers."
Pochettino first managed La Liga club Espanyol before moving to England to coach Southampton and Spurs.
The closest he got to winning a trophy was during the 2019 Champions League finals where his side lost to rivals Liverpool in the final by 2-1.
PSG have had players test positive for coronavirus in the past as some players missed the Marseille after results came out positive.
Pochettino was not wearing a face mask when joining in trophy celebrations with the players.
