Embattled Arsenal midfielder, Mesut Ozil, wishes there was a way he could help the relegation-threatened Gunners bounce back to glory.

The North Londoners have not won any of their Premier League game since their victory over Manchester United on November 1.

Mikel Arteta's men now have just 14 points in 14 league games, their worst start to the season in over four decades.

And the German international, who has not tasted any competitive action since March this year was hoping he had a way to rescue the Emirates Stadium outfit from going down.

Ozil said during a Twitter chat with his over 25 million followers earlier this week:

“It’s a very difficult time for everyone around the club – not just for me. The situation is frustrating for everyone.
“Of course I would wish I could help the team especially right now, but as long as I don’t get the chance I just hope that we get better results very soon again, but let's stay positive."

Arsenal welcome London rivals, Chelsea, to the Emirates Stadium on Boxing Day and they will hope for a turnaround at the end of the game.

Arteta's job security could also be hanging on the outcome of the game against the Blues this weekend as sources reveal he has been given a two-match ultimatum to turn things around. earlier reported that Mesut Ozil was equally not happy with the way things have been going at the Emirates despite being frozen out of Arsenal's squad by Mikel Arteta.
