The impressive Iwobi who has continued to improve under Carlo Ancelotti has now made 13 league appearances for Everton this season.

According to Sky Sports, the player also thanked Arsenal football club for making him what he is today.

"I wouldn't be where I am today, so I'm forever grateful for the opportunity they gave me.

"When I was breaking through, Arteta was still there and he was always helping - not just me, but any youngster - he made life easier when I was pushing through."

Meanwhile, Mesut Ozil was not happy with the way things have been going at the Emirates despite being frozen out of Arsenal's squad by Mikel Arteta.
