Mohamed Salah might be considering a move to either Real Madrid or Barcelona in the nearest future.

The two-time Premier League golden boot recipient has been linked with a move to the two Spanish League giants despite having three more years on his deal with Liverpool.

He was instrumental to their Champions League and EPL titles in the last two seasons - scoring 14 goals and two assists in 19 games across competitions so far.

Having already spent four years at Anfield, top European clubs are now trying to lure the Egyptian goal king away from the Merseyside club. Salah was quoted by the Mirror telling AS that:

"I think Madrid and Barcelona are two top clubs. Who knows what will happen in the future. But right now I am focused on winning the Premier League and the Champions League with Liverpool again."

Meanwhile, the former Roma attacker was asked how long more he intends to stay at Anfield, he responded:

"That's a tough question. But right now I can say that everything is in the hands of the club. Of course, I want to break records here and, I repeat, all the club records, but everything is in the hands of the club."

Since his move to Liverpool in 2017, the 28-year-old has been a key part of Jurgen Klopp's main team but has heavily criticised for his greedy style.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Mohamed Salah’s first-minute strike against Midtjylland in the Champions League has seen the Egyptian become Liverpool’s all-time leading goalscorer in the competition with 22.

The Egyptian playmaker found the back of the net inside 55 seconds to take his tally to 22 and above club legend Steven Gerrard who has 21.

That goal is also Liverpool's fastest in the elite competition as he now has one more than the former team captain.
