- Alex Telles joined Bruno Fernandes at Manchester United during the summer transfer window
- The player has stated that Fernandes used to be so annoying when they played in Portugal
- Telles says he is delighted to play in the same team with the sensational midfielder
Alex Telles stated that he has eventually changed his mind about Bruno Fernandes who used to be annoying when both players were plying their trade back in Portugal.
Both players had faced each other several times - while Fernandes played for Sporting Lisbon and Telles on the other hand featured for FC Porto.
According to a report on UK outlet Daily Star, Telles feels relieved to be on the same team with Fernandes at Manchester United adding that he was annoying to play against.
Since his arrival on January transfer deadline day, the former Sporting Lisbon star has found the back of the net 23 times for the Red Devils and Telles says the Portuguese star is United’s best at the moment.
"I've said to him that at the time he was quite annoying to play against on the pitch, always wanting to win, obviously.
"He's a guy with a massive heart and immense quality, it's there for everybody to see and I don't need to talk any more about Bruno's quality. It's a pleasure to play with him.
"He's a great guy who is always willing to help everybody and he really makes a difference and that's great."
On the other hand, Mino Raiola has clarified his earlier statement over a possible exit of Frenchman Paul Pogba from Manchester United saying it would be hard for the player to move in January.
The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move away from the Old Trafford outfit amid interests from Italian giants, Juventus and Spanish champions, Real Madrid.
But his agent Raiola who earlier stated that the player’s time with the Red Devils was over, now adds that a switch may likely not happen in January.
However, Legit.ng earlier reported that Manchester United legend Paul Scholes blames David de Gea for the club's shocking exit from the Champions League.
The Spaniard made a return to the Red Devils' lineup during their Group H decider against RB Leipzig on Tuesday, December 8, forming part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's formidable squad for the game.
He went into the crunch clash knowing too well a point would secure them a place in the knockout round of the competition.
