Mikel Arteta has been asked to be sacked as Arsenal coach from supporters of the club following their defeat against Burnley.

The Gunner were humbled by a 1-0 loss at the Emirates despite starting the game on a promising note.

However, since Granit Xhaka got sent off on the hour mark as the Clariets turned on the heat until Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was pressured into heading the ball into his own net.

And it became the first time the north London club will be losing four matches in a row in 61 years.

Arsenal are now languishing in 15th position despite starting the season on a promising note and fans have called for Arteta to be relieved of his duties.

One fan said on Twitter:

“I really like Arteta and I really wanted him to succeed at Arsenal. But it’s so obvious that he is out of his depth.
“No game plan, no creativity and no joy whatsoever. @Arsenal are boring and clueless under his management. #ARSBUR”.

A second added:

“People need to stop this 'I believe in Arteta' nonsense, he's not the tooth fairy. He's a man well out of his depth, no amount of transfer windows or time will remedy that.”

A third went straight to teh point:

“#ArtetaOut I AM DONE.”
