However, since Granit Xhaka got sent off on the hour mark as the Clariets turned on the heat until Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was pressured into heading the ball into his own net.

Arsenal are now languishing in 15th position despite starting the season on a promising note and fans have called for Arteta to be relieved of his duties.
One fan said on Twitter:
“I really like Arteta and I really wanted him to succeed at Arsenal. But it’s so obvious that he is out of his depth.
“No game plan, no creativity and no joy whatsoever. @Arsenal are boring and clueless under his management. #ARSBUR”.
A second added:
“People need to stop this 'I believe in Arteta' nonsense, he's not the tooth fairy. He's a man well out of his depth, no amount of transfer windows or time will remedy that.”
A third went straight to teh point:
“#ArtetaOut I AM DONE.”
