Sergio Ramos could be leaving Spanish giants Real Madrid as soon as his contract lapses next summer according to reports on SPORTbible.

It was gathered that Los Blancos captain can begin to negotiate with other clubs as from January 1 amid interests from several Premier League clubs.

Spanish radio station Onda Cero claim that the reigning La Liga champions are making frantic efforts to convince the 34-year-old to sign another contract, but Ramos is already considering his exit.

Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is looking to keep the player for longer time but is seems his mind is already made up.

The defender has spent a staggering 16 seasons in Madrid since signing from Sevilla in 2005 and has played over 650 games for the Spanish giants and been integral to five La Liga wins, four Champions League titles and many more trophies.

But Real Madrid president Florentino Perez hinted in November that Ramos could indeed leave the club in 2021.

It is understood that the Spanish center-back has received offers from Serie A, the English league and the French Ligue 1.

Paris Saint-Germain are understood to be interested in the Spain international who are ready to pay the player higher than what he currently earns at Madrid.

Reports claim that Real are looking to reduce their wage bill due to the current economic situation which has affected their financial books.

And the French champions are reportedly set to offer the 'Bad Boy of Football' a massive contract worth £54million after tax.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane believes Atletico Madrid are favourtites to win the Spanish League this season.

Diego Simeone's men sit atop of the table with 26 points from 10 league games - six points better than their city rivals with one game in hand.

Los Blancos will now hope they can cut the gap to three points at the end of their meeting at the Santiago Bernabeu.
