Cristiano Ronaldo put up a blockbuster performance in Juventus 3-0 win over Barcelona at the Camp Nou on Tuesday night, in the Champions League.
The Portuguese striker got a brace from the spot to inspire the Old Lady to top of their group with 15 points, same with the Catalans.
Ronaldo and Messi have continued to generate debate as regards who the better player is between the pair and the Champions League game allowed fans to see both players go toe-to-toe yet again.

But CR7 appeared to have proven former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola wrong during the encounter as he looked more determine for victory.
During Pep’s spell at the Camp Nou, he once claimed that there was no team defence that could stop the Argentine legend. Guardiola said:
"There is no defence that can stop Messi. It is impossible."
However, during the encounter, Messi had raced down the flank as the Blaugrana continued to search for a goal, but Ronaldo was seen backtracking to get the ball off the Barca captain.

It was a convincing win for the Old Lady, and at the end of the game, Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo stated that the presence of Messi in the encounter inspired Ronaldo to put up a spectacular performance.
Pirlo said:
"Ronaldo was very motivated to put in a good performance here against his eternal rival, so when you're that motivated, it becomes simple.

"There are many games in a season and it's easier to get fired up for fixtures like this, but we mustn't lose sight of the real target, which is Serie A, so we have to be this concentrated and committed there too."
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has cautioned super-agent Mino Raiola over his latest comments that his client, Paul Pogba’s time at the club is over.
United crashed out of the Champions League following their loss to RB Leipzig and barely hours to the encounter, Raiola had suggested that Pogba needs to leave the club.
The Frenchman was named on the bench for the cracker and came on to inspire the Red Devils who were three goals down to come close at 3-2.
