- Jadon Sancho could have handed Chelsea a boost
- The winger has been heavily linked with a move to Man United
- The Red Devils failed to seal the deal after being asked to pay £108m for the youngster
Chelsea are reportedly likely to beat Manchester United to the signing of Borussia Dortmund winger, Jadon Sancho at the end of the season.
The former Manchester City wonderkid was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in the summer but their failure to meet his club's £108 million asking price ended their negotiations.
However, the Blues might have been handed a huge boost as the player sometime in 2019 confirmed he was a fan of the London club when he was growing up.
"Yeah, it's correct. I'm not going to lie."
Sancho, who has scored two goals and three assists in 13 appearances for Dortmund in all competitions this campaign was quoted telling another news source that he watched Ronaldinho and other big stars on YouTube:
"I used to look at Ronaldinho on YouTube. That was a big thing for me. He used to try things that no-one else would try and that made me like him a lot. I didn’t have a team that I supported, though. I just idolised a lot of great players."
Meanwhile, it is left to be seen if Chelsea will make a move for the Englishman next summer having already signed the likes of Hakim Ziyech, Kai Havertz and Timo Werner a few months back.

And Frank Lampard and his Blues armies are guns blazing so far this campaign as they sit third on the log with two points behind Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.
Although the Christmas fixtures will tell how far all these teams would go at the money, they are favourites to win the title.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Jadon Sancho is not part of the Dortmund squad that will face Freiburg due to his transfer status.
The England international has been heavily linked with a move to the Old Trafford and with speculations that he could still leave the German club this summer, he is out of the squad facing Freiburg.
He is also interested in a move to England but was part of his club’s training last Friday, however, reports say he is ill amid rumours he is heading to the EPL.
