Brazil legend Ronaldo Nazario has recounted how Real Madrid hired securities to stop his partying lifestyle but they eventually joined him in the process.

The 43-year-old spent five years at the Santiago Bernabeu - winning one Spanish League, Intercontinental Cup and Supercopa de Espana after joining them from Inter Milan in 2002.

He however enjoyed a flamboyant way of life on and off the pitch during his time at the Spanish capital.

The forward recently opened up on how his love for parties greatly annoyed the club president Florentino Perez during an interview with Jorge Valdano.

"Florentino would put those of his own security at the door and you would haggle them all the same," Ronaldo began per Marca.

"I ended up dribbling them too. Some even joined the parties! "There is a legend about it all, more than what it really was.

"Sometimes I may be partied too much, but it wasn't really like that. I've always been very responsible and I've always tried not to hurt my body."

Ronaldo revealed that he mostly partied after Madrid victories... But winning came naturally to a team full of 'Galacticos.' as reported by Sport Bible.

"Yes, after winning matches I did like to celebrate... and since we always won that was a problem! "But there is much more to the legend than the reality.

The former Barcelona and Inter Milan star scored 104 goals in 177 games across competitions for Los Blancos over his five-year reign. earlier reported that Real Madrid legend Roberto Carlos appears to have settled the rivalry between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo by picking countryman Ronaldo de Lima as the greatest of all time.

The 2002 FIFA World Cup winner spent 11 years at the Santiago Bernabeu and shared the dressing room with the 43-year-old at both club and country.

He, however, believes that the duo of Messi and Ronaldo have nothing compared with the Brazilian icon.

Both Messi and Ronaldo have been at the top of their games in the last 15 years - winning prestigious awards at the end of almost every season.
