Premier League side Chelsea have been having it rosy this summer as far as transfer is concerned as the Blues' gaffer Frank Lampard has been able to sign some big stars ahead of new season.

Kai Havertz and Ziyech are among the big names who will be playing for Chelsea in the coming season in all competitions.

Chelsea failed to win any title at the 2019/20 Premier League season which made Frank Lampard and his chiefs to enter the transfer market so as to bolster their squad.

The good news for all Chelsea fans is that the Stamford Bridge landlords will be playing in the Champions League next term.

However, there are seven players who are still at Stamford Bridge collecting huge sums of money despite playing very little.

Michy Batshuayi - £90,000-per-week (until June 2021)

Marco van Ginkel - £28,000-per-week (until June 2021)

Victor Moses - £75,000-per-week (until June 2021)

Davide Zappacosta - £70,000-per-week (until June 2022)

Baba Rahman - £86,000-per-week (until June 2022)

Danny Drinkwater - £100,000-per-week (until June 2022)

Tiemoue Bakayoko - £110,000-per-week (until June 2022)

Meanwhile, only Batshuayi and van Ginkel were with Chelsea last season and had limited games as five others were sent out on loan.

Earlier, had reported how German professional footballer Kai Havertz reportedly requested for the jersey number 29 at Premier League side Chelsea ahead of the coming 2020/21 topflight season.

Frank Lampard and his chiefs got the signing of the 21-year-old from Bayer Leverkusen and he is expected to help the Blues in their campaign next term in the Champions League.

Many thought that Havertz would ask for Willian's jersey number after his move to Arsenal, but according to the Athletic, he is interested in Fikayo Tomori's shirt.

Demba Ba and Cameroon legend Samuel Eto'o are among the players who have previously worn the No.29 at Stamford B ridge.
