Yaya Toure will not be involved in the Soccer Aid charity game meant to raise funds for children after posting an inappropriate message in the WhatsApp group chat.
The ex-Man City and Barcelona star posted a video of a naked woman in a bath and then followed it up by stating he could bring 19 girls to hotel where both teams are staying at the charity game, cited on The Sun.
It is understood 37-year-old was asked to leave the team hotel after several complaints were made from footballers and celebrtities participating in the game.
Some stars includes female footballers like Julie Fleeting, Lianne Sanderson and Chelcee Grimes while former England goalkeeper David Jmaes was also said to have reported the Ivorian midfielder.
However the former African Footballer of the Year deleted the content before issuing an apology for his conduct but will not be making his second Soccer Aid appearance this Sunday.
"I would like to apologise to everyone involved in Soccer Aid for an inappropriate joke I deeply regret," he wrote on Twitter.
"It was meant as a joke however I lacked thorough consideration for the feelings of other participants.
"That being said I deleted the jokes within minutes and I immediately apologised to all inside the group.
"We gather for a good cause and this deviates the focus of the game which is to bring everyone together to help children around the world.
"It's sad to see an inappropriate joke I made attract the attention which should be fully devoted to the beauty of the charity game.
"I am very sorry for my mistake and I wish everyone all the best with Soccer Aid on Sunday in raising awareness and funds for important causes."
