Reigning Italian champions Juventus have confirmed the signing of promising Chelsea youngster Samuel Iling-Junior.
It is understood Juventus snapped up the hot prospect after the teenage sensation turned down a new deal with Chelsea.
Mirror UK reports Illing-Junior had the option of staying with the Blues for longer but opted to complete a switch to the Turin-based club.
The youngster has been training with Juve for the last two months after he was courted by the Italian club back in May before they officially announced his signing.
Speaking on the move, the 16-year-old paid an emotional tribute to Chelsea, thanking the club for discovering and nurturing him during his time at Stamford Bridge.
"Full of vast emotions, being at Chelsea from such a young age has truly built me, not only as the player I am today but also as a person," he wrote on Instagram.
"I’m filled with gratitude at the time and effort put into my development, leading me to where I am today," he added.
Iling-Junior, who has featured for England's under-16 and under-17 youth sides will officially be unveiled at Juventus in the coming days.
His unveiling will coincide with that of French defender Felix Nzouango Bikien who also joined Juve's youth side.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Premier League side Chelsea are reportedly ready to sell France international N'Golo Kante this summer only if the Blues can get the sum of £80m which is around N41 billion.
N'Golo Kante is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League considering his superb performances for the Blues and when he was playing for Leicester City.
The World Cup winner was among the players that helped Leicester City win the Premier League title before he made the move to Chelsea.
And since the Frenchman got to Stamford Bridge, he has been able to win the hearts of the Blues' faithfuls with his impressive games.
