Jose Mourinho is reportedly planning to reunite with Diego Costa as Tottenham Hotspur plot surprise transfer move for the Atletico Madrid striker.
The Portuguese tactician was in charge of Chelsea between during his second stint at Stamford Bridge between 2013 and 2015 when the 31-year-old played for the Blues.

According to Talk Sport quoting Daily Star, the 57-year-old has made signing a striker Spurs' major priority this transfer window for the North Londoners.
Tottenham are said to have shown interests in landing out-of-favour Barcelona striker Luis Suarez while Callum Wilson is also on the radar.
However, Costa is likely to be a cheaper option in the current market especially with his deal at the La Liga outfit expiring next summer.
The 31-year-old endured a disappointing season after scoring just five goals across all competitions for Diego Simeone's side.
Despite his advanced age, the attacker would be a good addition to Mourinho's side when they kick off their campaign next season.
Meanwhile, Spurs might be challenged by Benfica who are also interested in the former Europa League winner.
Spurs have already completed deals for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and goalkeeper Joe Hart this window and they have reached an agreement to sign Wolves right-back Matt Doherty in a £16m deal.

And after about one week in charge of Spurs, Jose was caught on video telling the Ivorian he was scared of his doggy defending.
