A Nigerian man who went ahead to place a mega N1million bet Barcelona, despite warnings, has reportedly broken up with his fiancée after she mocked him during Bayern Munich rout.
The Catalan giants were thoroughly humiliated 8-2 by a ‘well-oiled German machine’ in the form of Bayern Munich as they succumbed to yet another heart-breaking exit from the Champions League for the third successive season.
Bayern were ruthless for the entire 90 minutes scoring four times in either half as Messi and co looked on with so much confusion as they crashed out of the tournament as Setien could only watch haplessly from the bench.
According to an aggrieved lady who wrote to popular Nigerian relationship expert Joro Olumofin, she received a break-up message from her boyfriend for mocking him after he lost his bet.
The relationship expert shared the email received as cited on Gistreel: “Joro more shoes for you I am in serious pains. My boyfriend ended a relationship of 4 years over Barcelona 8-2 defeat last night. I warned him not to place the 1 million naira bet. He told me he trusted his team and they can’t lose.
“We were watching the game together in a lounge and after first half the game was 4:1 his friends started Iaughing loud so I only laugh a bit out of the way they were teasing him.
“He got mad at us and drove off and I did not hear from him till this morning where I got a text saying I have laughed away my relationship and marriage, that the money was meant to pay my bride price in December and I should go and pay with my Laugh. Joro pls what can i do to make him understand I never meant to laugh?”
