Authorities in charge of football in England have given the approval for the FA Cup to return from June in which the prestigious competition will start from the the quarterfinal stages.
All football activities in England have been suspended since March due to the threat coronavirus is causing in the entire world in which many people have been killed.
But after two months of no football games in England, Premier League chiefs have finally picked June as the month for the resumption of the suspended season.
According to the latest report on BBC, football chiefs in England have also given the green light for the FA Cup to begin from June 27-28 for the quarterfinals.
The semifinals will be played on July 11-12, while the final games will be played on August 1 according to the new plans.
However, no venues or kick-off times for the matches have been confirmed at this stage but the semi-finals and final are normally held at Wembley Stadium.
"We are pleased to agree the provisional restart date for the 2019/20 Emirates FA Cup.
"The competition has been an integral part of the English football calendar for nearly 150 years, and we'd like to thank the Premier League Executive and Clubs,'' FA chief executive Mark Bullingham explained.

Meanwhile, Leicester City will take on Chelsea in the quarterfinal game, while Newcastle United will face Manchester City as Sheffield United will take on Arsenal.
Manchester United will tackle Norwich City for a place in the last four of the English FA Cup.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how fresh reports have it that English Premier League clubs have voted for the season to restart on Wednesday, June 17 with Arsenal facing off with Manchester City at the Etihad.
According to SunSport, the new fixture upon return will also see Aston Villa take on Sheffield United in the first games back after the break.
Plans were in place for the season to resume on Friday 19 June, but the Telegraph claim that has been scrapped.
Two matches will be played on the Wednesday to make all of the clubs in the league level on 29 games.
One match is then expected to be played on the Friday before a full round of fixtures across the weekend.
