N'Golo Kante: Chelsea midfielder unwilling to leave Stamford Bridge amid Barcelona interest

- N'Golo Kante has just a year left on his current deal with Chelsea

- The midfielder has been an integral figure in the Blues' dressing room since joining them in 2016

- About three top European clubs including Real Madrid and Barcelona are looking to sign him

- Series of injuries have kept him sidelined for the better part of the currently suspended season

Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante reportedly has no plans of dumping the Blues when the summer transfer window reopens unless the club decides to offload him.

Kante has built a reputation as one of the finest Premier League midfielders, attracting interest from top European clubs including Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.

PSG have for long looked to sign Kante, but the World Cup-winning star is understood to be reluctant to return to France.

The former Leicester star is further thought not to be keen with a switch to Madrid as he is afraid he could end up playing second fiddle to Casemiro.

That said, Metro UK, citing Goal reports the Frenchman is happy at the Blues and he is not open to departing at least in the foreseeable future.

The Blues have struggled to keep Kante fit this season, with the 29-year-old missing more than 20 matches through a string of injuries.

His absence saw youngsters including Billy Gilmour slot in to fill the void.

Meanwhile, Kante who is on a £290,000-a-week wages at Stamford Bridge and is currently the club’s top earner, will only leave the club if they insist he leaves.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Barcelona appears to have joined the chase for the signature of Chelsea midfielder N'golo Kante at the end of this campaign.

The Catalans are hoping they can add out-of-favour star Philippe Coutinho in the deal to land the 2018 World Cup star who is equally wanted by rivals Real Madrid.

According to SunSport, Barca want to add the Frenchman to their squad in a bid to solidify their midfield ahead of the season.

The La Liga defending champions are targeting Kante as a replacement for the duo of Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic.
