Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo has explained the condition he was when he got a call about the Red Devils' interest to sign him during the January transfer window.
The ex-Watford star explained that he was on the bed in an hotel in China preparing to sleep when his agent called him that Premier League giants Manchester United were looking for him.
It came as a great joy for Odion Ighalo considering the fact that he has been supporting Manchester United since his old days on the streets of Ajegunle in Lagos.
And after his agent called him, he was extremely glad and was praying that Manchester United chiefs should call before the transfer window closed.

While speaking with Sky Sports, Ighalo explained that it was around 11pm that day and he had thought that United may not call again until they did and had to talk with the Red Devils' chiefs.
"I had a towel around my waist and got up, tied my towel, opened my door and went to the translator's room.
"I said, 'Man United want to speak to me.' I said, 'it's Man United, make it happen. This is a dream for me.' Even my agent was shaking. I said, 'you have to make this happen,''. Ighalo explained according to UK Sun citing Sky Sports.
The deal eventually came true as Odion Ighalo was signed on the deadline day and joined Manchester United on a six months deal as replacement for Marcus Rashford.
Today, the rest is history as Odion Ighalo's dream of playing for Manchester United finally came true at the age of 30.
Gone are the days when the Nigerian striker used to wear Manchester United jersey around on the street of Lagos to show that he love the Red Devils.
Ighalo has scored three goals so far for Manchester United in all competitions, but he is yet to net in the Premier League.
Perhaps when he gets the chance to start a game for Manchester United in EPL, then Ighalo may score like he did against Club Brugge in Europa League and Derby in the FA Cup.
