Cristiano Ronaldo was on the losing side with Juventus following their narrow 2-1 defeat to Hellas Verona over the weekend.

The Bianconeri dropped points that led Inter Milan overtake them on points after the Nerazzurri conquered AC Milan in the derby at San Siro.

But Ronaldo did not allow his team's failure to affect him despite scoring in ten consecutive games for the champions and still ended up losing.

Instead, the 35-year-old stepped up his fitness regime with his daughter Alana who offered him a helping hand during the routines.

The Portuguese superstar posted the video on his Instagram handle of himself working out on an exercise ball as his two-year-old daughter sat on his stomach.

And Ronaldo said "No excuses" on the video clip to his over 200 million followers, in a bid to encourage them never to give up even when they fail.

The former Real Madrid star was reportedly furious after the loss to Verona and it is understood he had heated exchanges with his teammates in the lockeroom.

Next on the cards for Maurizio Sarri's side is a match with AC Milan in the Coppa Italia semi final match first leg match on Thursday, February 13, 2020.

Before taking on relegation-threatened side Brescia at the weekend, then travel to Lyon to play their round of 16 Champions League first leg clash.
