Cesc Fabregas names Conte as toughest manager, Mane as best player in EPL

Cesc Fabregas is a cult hero in the Premier League but the Spanish midfielder had his ups and downs while serving under Antonio Conte at Chelsea.

The Blues playmaker was often dropped to the bench by the Italian gaffer and even demoted to the club's U23 side.

But it took a while before the former Barcelona star was able to convince Conte about making his way back into the squad.

And the now AS Monaco star recalls how he worked hard to win his place back in the Chelsea squad that lifted the Premier League and FA Cup during Conte's two-year stay at Stamford Bridge.

"Conte by far. I always said that coming back and change around his mind about me was one of the most satisfying things I’ve done in my career. I had to be silent and sweat a lot though," Fabregas said on Twitter when asked the hardest manager he worked with.

The former Arsenal midfielder with Spain also picked Liverpool Sadio Mane as the best player in the Premier League.

"Mané for me," Fabregas added.

Fabregas won three FA Cups with Arsenal and Chelsea as well as two Premier League trophies with the Blues.

The 32-year-old was also part of the Spanish national team that won the 2008 and 2012 European Championships, and the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Daniel James claims his Manchester United teammate Marcos Rojo is the toughest player in training.
