Arsenal star Bukayo Saka is expected to switch allegiance from England to Nigeria in the coming days according to eggheads of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

According to Sportinglife.ng report, the Amaju Pinnick led-board has already commenced moves, towards convincing the 18-year-old winger opt for Nigeria’s Super Eagles ahead of England’s Three Lions.

NFF’s scribe Dr. Mohammed Sanusi told Sportinglife.ng in Abuja that Nigerians should not be afraid with regards to getting Saka to play for his country of origin - Nigeria.

“Yes Saka has played for the under-aged teams in England. But there are ways to sort out his eligibility. These can’t be an impediment to getting Saka to play for Nigeria. This can be sorted out by the Federation and the NFF President is personally handling the matter.

“I want to tell you that the President of the Nigeria Football Federation Amaju Pinnick is working assiduously to make sure he brings Bukayo Saka to play for Nigeria,” Sanusi was quoted as saying to Sportinglife.ng in Abuja.

Legit.ng reported earlier that Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the English Football Association may end up in FIFA’s court as the two nations set to return to the battle field in quest for the services of Chelsea defence ace Derrick Abu.

According to reports coming out of Europe, the English FA are keeping tabs on the highly-rated defender with an intention of handing him a call up but the NFF are yet to make official move for the talented youngster.
