Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang inspired Arsenal to their first win of the season following their 1-0 victory over stubborn Newcastle United at St. James Park on Sunday, August 11.
The Gunners were out to cart away all the three points as they set their sights on a Champions League places after missing out on the top four last season.
However, breaking past Newcastle was not going to be an easy task as Steve Bruce kicked off a new era at the club following the departure of Rafa Benitez.

The hosts had the better chances in the first half, with Shelvey smashing the post as debutant Joelinton shot straight at Bernd Leno.
Arsenal's best chance in the half came through Aubameyang who tested Dubravka with a decent volleyed shot as the two sides headed into the break goalless.
The second half of the clash was action-packed with Arsenal's record signing Nicolas Pepe making his Premier League debut alongside Dani Ceballos and Martinelli.
The visitors' sharpness upfront saw them broke the deadlock, with Aubameyang scoring the opener in the 58th minute, thanks to Maitland-Niles's quick-fire counter attack.
Saint-Maximin nearly equalised for the home side seven minutes to time, but Leno went down low to make a save.
Despite Newcastle's advances upfront, the Gunners managed to hold on to claim all the three points.
