Alex Iwobi scored a cheeky goal in training with Petr Cech in goal but Arsenal fans were left unimpressed.

The Gunners are preparing or a crunch Premier League game against Everton at Goodison Park as Unai Emery will be looking to keep their top four hopes alive with a win.

Arsenal have been blessed with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette firepower as they have scored 30 league goals between them this season.

However, footages of Iwobi who has only managed four goals in all competitions this season, emerged in training scoring a sublime goal.

In the video clip, the squad are running some shooting drills as they receive the ball on the edge of the box before taking a touch and striking at goal.

The Super Eagle star got the ball from a coach, touching it to the right, then lines himself up for the shot.

Iwobi's effort lacks power as he falls to the ground but it is all a disguise, as the 22-year-old’s shot is chipped over Cech, who has come out of his goal to narrow his angle.

The ball bounces off the post and went in, leaving the Arsenal goalkeeper amazed as Iwobi’s team-mates scream in celebration as he runs away.

This footage was shared on the club’s official Instagram handle, where it has gathered almost a million views.

But the Gunners supporters were not impressed with the Nigerian international’s strike.

“How’s he falling over when he’s under zero pressure,” one supporter said.

Another commented: “Shame he can’t do it on match day.”

While a third fired a warning to Iwobi.

“This kid needs to take his finishing more seriously,” they said.

“He’s been rubbish at it for the past seasons.”

And a fourth added: “You need to do it games.”

Meanwhile, had earlier reported that Alex Iwobi’s performance for Arsenal against Newcastle United on Monday, April 1, has become a major issue of discussion among Gunners fans on Twitter.
