- Izunna Uzochukwu joins Norwegian side Aalesunds FK on a short term deal
- The former FC Midtjylland midfielder sealed the move during this winter transfer window
- Uzochukwu's reign with the club will expire at the end of this current season
Norwegian club side Aalesunds FK have completed the signing of Nigerian midfielder Izunna Uzochukwu on a short term deal.
The 28-year-old midfielder sealed the deal during the January transfer window and he is expected to represent the club until the end of this season.
Prior to the signing, Izunna was a free agent having last featured for Chinese Super League side Meizhou Hakka, scoring zero goal after eight matches for the club.

Meanwhile, the manager of the team, Lars Bohinen admits that the midfielder will improve his side but will take some time to adapt to the squad.
“He is a player with an impressive CV. Almost 200 games in Danish Superliga. Grown up in the academy of Central Jutland. So he has gone to a good school,'' head coach Lars Bohinen told AaFK's official website.
“He is a central midfielder with a good working radius, good passing and skilled one against one defensive.

“He will need some time to get into our system, and to get some training, but this is a nice addition to our squad.''
Izunna got his first national team call up in September 2015 when Nigeria faced Tanzania, while he has also featured for FC Ebedei, Izunna, Midtjylland, Amkar Perm, OB and Meizhou Hakka in the past.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Nigerian forward Sone Aluko has completed a short term loan deal to Chinese Super League side Beijing Renhe.
The 30-year-old struggled for form at the start of the ongoing season with his Championship side Reading - scoring just one goal in 19 appearances in all competitions.
He joined the Royals in the summer of 2017 in a deal two year deal around £6.75 million and has scored a total of four goals in about 60 matches for the club.
