Senegal’s Liverpool star Sadio Mane has disclosed that he dispatched a message to club mate, Mohamed Salah before the commencement of hostilities at the ongoing World Cup in Russia.
The Pharaohs’ of Egypt playmaker excelled at the Kop side in his first season, netting 44 goals as he claimed the PFA Player of the Year award as well as getting a final spot in the Champions League.

Sadly, the Egypt international suffered a career-threatening injury against the Los Blancos in last month final in Kiev, Ukraine after cropping a shoulder dislocation following a collision with Real Madrid’s defender Sergio Ramos.
According to UK Daily Star report, there were anxiety that the former Roma player, will miss out of the global football fiesta and despite his quick return to action, Salah was not able to help the North African fortunes after crashing out from the Mundial, even with a Group A fixture remaining, early in the week.

And the Senegalese forward, who is preparing to help the Teranga Lions progress to the Last 16 round on Sunday, hinted he felt pity for his club teammate.
"I sent him a message a week ago, or a bit less,” he said.
“He is a player who really wanted to play at this World Cup but unfortunately he arrived with an injury.

"I wish him the best. He is very strong mentally and fought hard to come back for his country but unfortunately they struggled.
"But that is football -- you have to live with it. It is normal to have difficulties and now he is going to have to prepare for next season."
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously had reported that Salah declared himself fit before playing against Russia at the ongoing 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Salah was on the bench for Egypt’s opening game against Uruguay as the Pharaohs were beaten with a last minute goal.
Many football fans believed Salah would have helped Egypt in their first game, but coach Hector Cuper thought otherwise.
