Tension at Stamford Bridge As Chelsea Star Claims He Wants to Return to Former Club

Hakim Ziyech has stated emphatically that he would love to make a return to Dutch giants Ajax where he spent five solid years of his football career before moving to Chelsea.

The Morocco international completed a move to Chelsea last summer, but he has been struggling for regular first team appearance most especially when Romelu Lukaku returned to the Blues.

At Ajax, Hakim Ziyech was treated like a god by fans who were happy with his incredible attacking styles and goal sense.

And before leaving Ajax, Hakim Ziyech scored 38 goals in 112 games in all competitions.

According to the report on GOAL and Ziggo Sport, Hakim Ziyech explained that he had good time while at Ajax and he will love to play at the club again in future.

Hakim Ziyech's reaction

"I would love to. I had a fantastic time there.
"It’s a place where I have felt at home, and whether it will ever happen, the future will tell. If it is up to me, it will definitely happen.
"That’s not up to me; I leave that to them. I just try to enjoy every day now and do my thing.
"What the future brings, we’ll see then. Like I said, I hope it happens one day. Whether it will happen is not up to me."

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how the manager of Premier League club Chelsea, Thomsa Tuchel, lamented that quite a number of his first-team players are suffering various degrees of injuries.

It was gathered that Kai Havertz had to withdraw himself at half time of the game against the Hammers after he was challenged by ex-team-mate Kurt Zouma.

Late in the game, Marcos Alonso was also taken out after he reportedly experienced back pains as he had been deputizing for Ben Chilwell who is out injured for at least six weeks.
