Ahmed Musa shared his throwback photo on social media, thanking God for how things have gone in his favour so far in life.

The Super Eagles striker who seemed to be in his teenage years wore an army-green polo shirt, looking determined in the photo.

Musa's expression on his Instagram post

The 29-year-old who played at the U20 World Cup and the Olympics, before breaking in the senior national team captioned the photo:

"For one minute, walk outside, stand there, in silence. Look up at the sky and contemplate how amazing life is. Alhamdulillah."

One of Musa's biggest career achievements was winning the AFCON 2013 with the Super Eagles under the tutelage of the late Stephen Keshi.

He recently celebrated 100 appearances for the national team making him the current longest-serving player in the Super Eagles.

Musa's lowest moment in his career was when he found himself clubless for nearly six months before joining his former club Kano Pillars.

The pacy winger finally joined Turkish Super Lig side Fatih Karagumruk in the summer and has made ten appearances scoring one goal.

Musa won three league titles with Russian side CSKA Moscow one FA Cup and another Super Cup during his four-year spell with the Moscow giants.
