- Ronald Koeman suffered double tragedy after losing his job following Barcelona's defeat to Rayo Vallecano
- The defeat pushes the Catalans to ninth position on the table as their struggles across competitions continue
- It is however left to be seen who they will hire as replacement for the Dutchman with 28 league games left to play this season
Ronald Koeman's reign as Barcelona manager came to an abrupt end just 10 games into the 2021-22 campaign.
The Catalans fired the Dutchman following his side's 1-0 defeat to Rayo Vallecano in Wednesday's Spanish League encounter at Estadio de Vallecas.
Former Manchester United star Radamel Falcao scored the only goal that ensured Koeman was relieved of his duties by the Blaugrana.
The Camp Nou club currently occupies the ninth position on the league table after the disappointing defeat to fifth position Vallecano.
