  • Cristiano Ronaldo seems angry with teammate Mason Greenwood as reports reveal both players hardly pass to each other on the pitch
  • A few Man United players are also questioning Solskjaer's tactical awareness of the team he's managing
  • The Red Devils were hammered 5-0 at Old Trafford over the weekend and the result could see the club sack their manager in a matter of days

Some Manchester United senior players have revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo is 'conspicuously' irritated with youngster Mason Greenwood.

They confirmed that both players don't pass to each other whenever they are paired upfront in the Red Devils line-up.

This came out after their historic 5-0 defeat to Liverpool at Old Trafford a few days ago according to Metro UK quoting ESPN.

The same set of players are also frustrated with Ole Gunnar Solakjser's failure to get the best out of his attackers after slipping to seventh on the EPL table.

United have lost five of their last nine English top-flight games so far this campaign - meaning their title contention may gradually be slipping off their hands.

The publication added that the members of the squad are openly questioning Solskjaer’s position at the club due to his inability to manage both Ronaldo and Greenwood.

It is also believed that United players are not happy with the lack of tactical direction from Solskjaer and feel there is a ‘favouritism’ towards members of the squad who are underperforming.

Ronaldo has now gone four Premier League games without scoring a goal – his longest run in the league since he was with Real Madrid in 2015.

What De Gea said after 5-0 loss to Liverpool

The Red Devils fell like a pack of cards in front of their home fans as they allowed the visitors to take control of the game from start to finish.

Naby Keita grabbed the opener in the fifth minute and Diogo Jota doubled the lead eight minutes later.

Mohamed Salah then went home with the match ball after scoring a hat-trick to further compound the home team's issues.
