Walter Sabatini who played 10 games for Italian side Roma has stated emphatically that he will pick Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen ahead of PSG star Kylian Mbappe if asked to choose the best.

There is no doubt about the fact that these two players have been superb so far this season for their clubs in all competitions.

Victor Osimhen is doing wonders at Napoli pumping in goals, while Kylian Mbappe is also in the same frequency despite the arrival of Lionel Messi.

Mbappe has scored six goals and managed eight assists in the 13 matches played for PSG, the Super Eagle has nine goals and an assist in 10 Napoli games.

According to the report on GOAL, Walter Sabatini explained that he will go for Victor Osimhen because of his incredible run on the pitch.

"If I were to pick one of them, I would go for Osimhen.
"He is unstoppable because he can run onto seemingly impossible balls and make them count. Right now, I would choose Osimhen.''

Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen and his teammates at Napoli are currently topping the League table in Italy and they have not lost any match so far.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Victor Osimhen has been on fire since the start of the season having scored seven goals and one assist in eight appearances for Napoli so far this campaign.

His performances have now seen his value rise to the tunes of about €10 million on the transfer market lately.

The 22-year-old former Lille attacker has now equalled his Wilfred Ndidi's €60 million market valuation according to latest report on Transfermarkt.

Osimhen according to the stats website is the third most valuable player in the Italian League while he ranks 49th most valuable player overall.

The Super Eagles forward is now Nigeria’s joint most valuable player and the second most valuable striker in the Italian league.
