Liverpool can confirm that their goalkeeper Alisson Becker has signed a new six-year deal to remain at the club until 2027.
The Brazilian goalkeeper becomes the third Reds star after Trent Alexander-Arnold and Fabinho to extend their reigns at Anfield.
Alisson joined the Merseyside outfit from Italian club Roma in 2018 in a deal valued at around €62.5 million and he was part of their Champions League and Premier League triumphs in the last few seasons.
Meanwhile, The Mirror claims the 28-year-old's new long-term deal ranks him among the highest earners at the club.
The publication added that the goalkeeper only signed the deal after his return from this summer's Copa America championship having been on the negotiating table for some time.
Jurgen Klopp had no choice but to keep the experienced shot-stopper who is among his important players as they get ready for the new Premier League season starting next weekend.
With Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Fabinho already committed their futures to the club, Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Sadio Mane could soon follow according to the Mirror.
Liverpool will kick-off the 2021-22 campaign with a trip to Norwich City on Saturday, August 14.
