Nigerian legend Vincent Enyeama has given kudos to his former team Lille after emerging French League champions at the end of the 2020-21 season.

Les Dogues claimed their fourth Ligue 1 title after finishing one point ahead of Paris Saint Germain after a tough contest between them.

Christophe Galtier's men claimed their first title in 10 years after ending PSG's dominance in the top-flight last term.

The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winning who spent seven seasons at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy has now expressed excitement for the club.

Enyeama insisted that the victory was to crown their efforts over all their years of investment in the French League. He told Legit.ng in an exclusive interview:

"I am happy for the team and for the establishment, they are one of the best in Europe so they deserve something to show for the years of investment."

Although he failed to any title during his seven-year reign at the club, he was however named winner of the Prix Marc-Vivien Foe award in 2014 - the prize for excellent Africa players in France.

The two-time CAF Champions League winner is also Nigeria's most capped player with 101 appearances in all competitions.

Super Eagles legend Vincent Enyeama flashes exotic cars

Legit.ng earlier reported that former Nigerian international goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, has given his followers a glimpse of what one of his exotic cars look like.

The 38-year-old who remains Nigeria’s most capped player flashed his posh Chevrolet Camaro SS Model ride on his Instagram Story and Instagram page which has got his fans buzzing.

Enyeama seems to be a lover of style and class as the ride is designed with keyless Open and Start which includes two remote transmitters that enable the automatic door to unlock and opens by touching the door switch.
