Nigeria's technical adviser Gernot Rohr has released a strong squad for his side's international friendly game billed for next month.

Topping the 24-man squad is the Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa who currently plays for Nigeria Professional Football League outfit Kano Pillars.

The 28-year-old joined the Sai Masu Gida in the second half of the NPFL season to keep his place in the national team as the Africa Cup of Nations championship is drawing near.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Nigeria will clash with CONCACAF Gold Cup holders Mexico in a friendly at the famous Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in the State of California, United States of America on Saturday, 3rd July.

Latest development was confirmed by the Nigerian Football Federation through their media department.

The match which kicks off at 7.30 pm LA time will be the sixth confrontation between the senior teams of both countries where four of which have ended in draws.
